Hair Mesotherapy

In addition to treatments for hair loss, hair mesotherapy can also be applied. In mesotherapy, after the scalp is anesthetized, ready-mixed cocktails can be used, as well as mixtures that we will determine according to the needs and deficiencies of the hair. The aim is to stimulate the hair follicle follicles, increase the blood flow in the scalp, nourish the hair follicles with vitamins such as Biotin, and strengthen the keratin structure. As a result, a decrease in hair loss, new hair growth and an increase in hair thickness are expected.

Losing 50-100 hairs per day is normal as a requirement of our hair cycle. New hair grows in place of the lost hair (hair in the telogen phase) and thus our total hair count remains constant. (10-20%) If this number increases, it may result in hair loss. It is a common type of hair loss that occurs as a significant increase in the number of hairs (30%). Increased hair loss occurs due to disruption of the normal hair cycle. Hair thinning is typical. If women experience menstrual irregularities and hair growth along with hair loss, the probability of hormonal disorders increases. Among the triggers that lead to disruption of the hair cycle, the most common anaemia due to iron deficiency, less or more work of the thyroid gland, giving birth (within the last 6-9 months), major surgeries or serious infections, very strict diets, excessive weight loss, Some medications, hormone treatments, unhealthy diet, intense physical or mental stress can be counted. It is noticed by the presence of a lot of hair on the shower drain, hair brush, pillow, clothes and floors during daily care such as hair washing/styling. In some patients, there may be sensitivity and burning in the scalp. Although genetics plays an important role in male pattern hair loss, androgens known as male hormones cause it. It starts from the two sides of the forehead and the back of the crown and progresses slowly so that the hair in between does not fall out. It is not possible to find a definitive solution for this type of spill. Shedding can be slowed down with some oral medications and some externally applied medications or cosmetics. Hair plucking due to psychological reasons and hair pulling together can also cause temporary and permanent hair loss over time.

Treatment is started as 1-2 sessions per week. In addition to the mesotherapy cocktails, PRP application provides additional benefits. The effects appear after 6-8 sessions of application. The treatment should not be stopped abruptly, and mesotherapy should be continued from time to time in the form of reminder doses.

Temporary side effects such as mild redness, swelling or tenderness at the injection sites may occur. Serious side effects such as infection or allergic reactions are rare.
